PURPOSE

Cancer is a disease that is incurable and can surprisingly happen to anyone at anytime. Without doubt, cancer cells affect the entire body! They can accumulate to form tumors and are also able to break off of these existing cancerous tumors to travel to different parts of the body. On the other hand, although cancer cannot be completely cured, it can certainly be treated. Chemotherapy is a treatment that is mainly used to treat or manage cancer and also to prevent any symptoms from worsening it. Chemotherapy is a systematic therapy which means it is affective to the whole body. It is used to kill the cancer cells that have formed tumors and it is also able to obliterate these cells no matter where they are located in the body. This treatment is capable of slowing the growth of cancer and preventing it from spreading throughout the body.
